Pashley Cycles

I know I have posted a photo of this bike before. I have been literally drooling over it for almost two years. A few problems are in the way of me acquiring it though. First, not a big bike rider, either in a leisurely or alternative method of transportation way. Second, don't have the money. Third {& slightly related to the first}, I would probably find a way to incorporate it into my decorating scheme than to actually use it -so, just not practical. But, I want it & someday I will have it!

Pashley Cyles was founded in 1926 by William "Rath" Pashley & are designed & built in Statford-upon-Avon in England -a fact only furthering my desire to covet one.

This Brittania one is my favorite, I love the basket!

However, I would be happy with almost any of the designs. Below are a few of my faves:

I Love The Flower Girl

I'm a daydreamer, like so good I could go professional. Here's what I daydreamed today: I was running through fields of flowers & green hills {a la English countryside} & then I got on my awesome bike {clearly a daydream, I am by no means a confident biker}, with fresh picked flowers in my basket {I love being surrounded by fresh flowers!} & riding down a dirt road, while "California" by Joni Mitchell played in the background. I was wearing a white, flouncy skirt with a loose fitting button down, bare feet {my go-to footwear}, & an old, beat-up straw hat. Perhaps my final destination is a country cottage -with a big porch & rocking chairs, I need a porch.

I obviously can't wait for summer & a break from all this work {the end of the semester is killing me}. Also, this is largely stemming from my extreme desire to own this bike.

Did you daydream up anything fun today?
